Student Eligibility:
Canadian Women in Municipal Government Scholarship
FCM's scholarship program for secondary school students began in 2010. There are five awards of $1000, each, with one award to be presented in each of the five regions of Canada (British Columbia, The Prairies and Territories, Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic Canada). The scholarship is open to women students enrolled in any year of study in secondary school and who are contributing to their school´s leadership team or student council.

LOUD Scholarships

Zonta Club of Victoria YWPA Scholarship
The deadline for this competition is January 31st. Please go to the website for the application form.
There are two cash awards in Canadian funds: $1,500 for first place, and $750 for the runner-up. The winner’s application is then submitted to our District organization for regional competition and possible further monetary reward in US funds. On more than one occasion a Victoria student has won at this level.

DB Perks & Associates Lifesaving Society Scholarship
Nominees must be holders of current Lifesaving Society awards and be actively employed by a BC & Yukon Branch affiliate as a lifeguard or Lifesaving Society Instructor, part-time or full time. Due January 31st.
David C. Lam/TEAL Foundation Award
For permanent residents of Canada who must have done ESL coursework at the secondary level (grades nine to twelve), grades must have improved over the years, and must have done school/community involvement. Due January 31st.
Child and Family Services of BC Bursaries
For students wishing to have a career in social service, health, or education sectors. Must be in care in some capacity of the Child and Family Services of BC.
David C. Lam TEAL (Teachers of an Additional Language) Foundation Award. Due January 31

- Anyone who is between the ages of 14-25 who will be attending school in the Fall.
